Unicel Architectural, the leading manufacturer of vision and daylight control solutions, today announced that is has increased the warranties for its Vision Control庐 integrated louvers solution. These include a 20-year warranty for interior applications and a 10-year warranty for exterior applications. Vision Control庐 is a patented, hermetically sealed insulating glass unit (IGU) combining louvers within glass for both interior and exterior glazing applications.
鈥淥ur Vision Control庐 units are field-proven for high performance and long-term durability,鈥 said Jean-Fran莽ois Couturier, CEO of Unicel Architectural. 鈥淪o it made sense to extend our warranty support to better reflect the product鈥檚 quality and longevity. Architects can specify Vision Control庐 with confidence for any privacy and daylight control design requirements knowing that it is backed by generous warranties.鈥
The extended warranties commence from the date of manufacture. Vision Control庐 insulating glass units are warranted not to develop, under normal conditions, material obstruction of vision as a result of dust or film formation on the internal glass surface caused by failure of the hermetic seal other than through glass breakage. Additionally, the warranties cover any internal parts for malfunction, mechanism failure or premature wear.
Vision Control庐 advanced louvered glazing technology eliminates strings and cords, ensures alignment, requires no maintenance and provides the ideal daylighting or privacy solution for commercial, residential, educational, healthcare or institutional environments. When installed in exterior applications, Vision Control庐 significantly reduces energy consumption in support of LEED庐 requirements. Vision Control庐 is a winner of The Architects鈥 Choice Award from the National Symposium on Healthcare Design and a Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine.
